Set 1On January 26th, we observe India's Republic Day, the country's National Festival.The Indian Constitution went into effect on this day in 1950.Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, referred to as the father of the Constitution of India, drafted the Constitution, which is the supreme law of India.The preamble of the Indian Constitution states that the country is a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic.The Prime Minister honours the martyrs at Rajghat to kick off the magnificent celebration of the day.The highest military honours are also given out on this day, in front of several dignitaries and distinguished foreign guests.On this day, prizes are also given to kids who have displayed exemplary bravery in various situations.Schools and colleges all over the country are organized into different programs.Speech and debate contests are held, and children are taught to sing the national anthem, "Jana Gana Mann."The day serves as a reminder to honour those who have fought for our freedom.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Set 2
Respected Principals, Teachers and my dear friends. I am here in front of you all to deliver a speech on Republic Day. I am glad and thankful for this opportunity that I get to express myself in front of this audience.
As a child I have always been taught to sing songs of patriotism on this day, I always look back at those days, I was part of the choir, singing Vande Matram with such great zeal and fervour. I am very proud of the nation that has given me so much, and most importantly this sense of being. But we may miss out on something very crucial, our roles. Our roles, our duties are more crucial than our expectations from the government or the nation. It’s anyway, in the end, citizens who make the countryLet us all join hands to build a corruption-free, poverty-free and egalitarian society, Lets gift this world to people who once had dreams about India and to us. The top saffron color of our flag denotes the strength and courage of our country.The middle white color indicates peace, however, lower green color indicates the growth and prosperity.
